This strategic move follows substantial layoffs at Tesla's Supercharging division, where an entire team of 500 members was let go. Despite their notable achievements, including the deployment of over 600 Tesla Superchargers across Southern California and the management of multi-million dollar infrastructure projects, these experts are now bringing their talents to Getaway Space.
Key accomplishments of the new Co-Founders include:
• Successfully deploying over 600 Tesla Superchargers in Southern California, incorporating more than 500kW of photovoltaic arrays and battery storage systems.
• Designing and securing infrastructure planning for new EV sites in Southern California, including coordination with local utilities - SCE and LADWP.
• Managing the development of several MegaHubs, including Tesla’s largest charging hub with 120 stalls and a solar canopy, proposed on a new 12MW electric service.
• Leading projects from inception to completion, managing both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various disciplines, including real estate, finance, electrical, civil, mechanical, environmental, and city officials.
